Practice Manager Largo / Tampa Locations
Marissa joined our team in September of 2021 as an assistant manager/veterinary nurse and is has now progressed to being the Practice Manager for both the Largo and Tampa locations. Marissa was born and raised in Largo, Fl, she loves the sunshine! Marissa has been working in the veterinary field now for almost 11 years. Marissa has one small terrier mix dog named Winnie who is 9 years old. During Marissa's free time she loves exercising, biking, spending time at the dog park with Winnie, and going to the beach.
Ana
Veterinary Nurse/Technician
Ana is a veterinarian from Bosnia and Herzegovina who decided to start her life from scratch by moving to Florida with her husband and daughter. She decided to start working as a veterinary nurse to stay in the field and continue sharing her love for fur babies until she gets her license as a veterinary doctor.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking, and trying to make all her food from scratch. She LOVES snow and everything that has to do with snow, and she misses it a lot. Her favorite sports are skiing and snowboarding, but she also enjoys dancing and high-intensity training. We are excited to have Ana join us and look forward to sampling some of her homemade goodies!
Andrea
Certified Veterinary Technician /Nurse - Tampa / Largo Locations
Andrea was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She now resides in Safety Harbor, FL. She has always had the desire to work with animals since she was a little girl. When she moved to Florida, she was excited to start a new career involved with the medical care and well being of animals. Andrea is usually working at the Tampa clinic and helps out in the Largo Clinic when needed.
She graduated from St. Petersburg College with an A.S. Degree in Veterinary Technology in May 2016. She then passed her exam and became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). In her free time she likes to dance, play table tennis, jog and explore the outdoors. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Autumn
Veterinary Nurse - Largo Location
Autumn is 24 years old and is currently attending SPC for the last 2 years to obtain her certification as a technician. Autumn has been with coastal clinic over 3 years, with her 1st year being on a volunteer base. She absolutely loves all animals and has a dog named Willow, a beardie named Mushu, and a horse named Harley. Autumn is very passionate and can't wait to meet you and your fur baby during your Coastal Animal Clinic visits!
Erica
Client Care Coordinator Largo Location
Erica grew up on Indian Rocks Beach; She spends most of her free time on the water paddle boarding or fishing. Erica is passionate about Florida waterways and wildlife restoration and conservation. In addition, Erica enjoys face-to-face client relations and enhancing the experience of each fur baby and their family.

Jose
Veterinary Surgical Technician Lead - Largo Location
Jose and his wife are originally from Puebla, Mexico. He has lived in the Tampa Bay area for 14 years. His family moved from Chicago to St. Petersburg for its beautiful weather! Jose has worked with small animals for over 20 years and loves it! Here in the Tampa Bay area, Jose worked at the Tampa Bay Emergency Clinic for a couple of years and at Andes Animal Hospital (now Coastal Animal Hospital) for the past 14 years. Jose is married and has 3 lovely daughters. He has a Labrador named Kyle. In his free time, he likes to go kayaking and running. Jose is also fluent in Spanish.

Karlie
Vet Assistant - Largo Location
Karlie was born in Pasco country and moved to pinellas county in 2014. Karlie was raised around large animals and grew up loving animals big and small. She soon wanted to persue with animals as a career. She joined the veterinarian assistant program at her high school. She started as a volunteer at Coastal animal Clinic in August of 2019 and was hired in April of 2021 as a Pet Care Assistant. In May of 2021 she became a certified veterinary assistant and graduated from her program at school. She grew up doing gymnastics starting at the age of 5 and traveling competitively for 11 years for it. During her free time she loves to paddle board and go to the beach with friends and family.

We are excited to welcome Laurie our Seasonal Groomer to the team. Laurie comes to us from New York and splits her time visiting her kids in Florida for half of the year and New York half the year. Client Care Coordinator - Largo Location
Opal joined the Largo team in December of 2020 and she is your most passionate care coordinator! She stands firm behind her title because she truly does care for animals and the humans attached to them. From the cold blooded critters to warm blooded fur babies, she loves them all! Outside of work she is the proud owner of a beautiful bearded dragon, a betta fish and mentally we all think she has adopted our clinic cat, Morris! Opal joins our team with an abundance of enthusiasm and we are excited to have her on our team.
Julianna
Julianna was born in New York and moved to Clearwater, Florida, in 2010. She is married with two daughters. They are an animal-loving family with two cats, a dog, a bearded dragon, and two hermit crabs. She has been in the veterinary field since she was 15 years old and started as a kennel cleaner, receptionist and worked her way up to a veterinary technician. She loves working with exotic animals and always learning something new. In her picture is one of her veterinary technician friends' baby calf named nugget.
She enjoys going to the beach or trying out new food spots with her family in her free time.
Rain
Veterinary Nurse Largo
Rain has worked at Coastal Animal Clinic in Largo for one year and occasionally helps at our Tampa location. Her hobbies include caring for her two dogs, a cat, a snake, and two sugar gliders outside of work. In addition, she enjoys cooking meals for her family, 3D art and painting, altering clothes, and reading and watching fantasy/sci-fi. She hopes to further her career by getting her technician certification.
Sandra
Veterinary Technician Largo/Tampa
Sandra is a veterinarian from Colombia specializing in small animal clinics. She has worked with small animals for 14 years and has fantastic dog and cat grooming skills. She has joined Coastal Animal Clinic in Largo and Tampa as a veterinary nurse until she can get her veterinary license here in the United States. She loves the animals and is very happy to work and care for yours. We are very fortunate to have her join our team.
Trevor
Client Care Coordinator
Trevor is a native of Clearwater, Florida, and 3rd generation Clearwater High School graduate. He graduated with honors and completed a marketing degree from FSU. He has resided in North Florida for many years, owning and managing a landscape company and a small BBQ restaurant. He loves his past and present pets, but his "golden" boy is Charlie, a two-year-old Goldendoodle! When Trevor isn't working he loves everything outdoors, especially in the North Carolina Mountains, travel, geography, cooking, and yoga. His passion for animals has led him on a path to pursue veterinary care, and his goal is to have a small farm soon.
