From a young age, Dr. Mike knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. His love of animals and fascination with science led him to pursue a career where he could combine both passions. Since becoming co-owner of Coastal Animal Clinic in 2015, he has remained dedicated to helping pets live longer, healthier lives while building lasting relationships with the families who trust him with their care.

He enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, with particular interests in preventive care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and advanced veterinary dentistry. He especially enjoys solving complex medical cases and performing advanced dental procedures, including surgical extractions. To him, good oral health is an important part of a pet's overall health and quality of life, not something that should be overlooked.

Known for his compassionate and approachable style, Dr. Mike believes that educating pet parents is an important part of good veterinary care. He takes the time to explain what is happening, answer questions, and work with each family to create a treatment plan that makes sense for their pet. By combining evidence-based medicine, modern technology, and continued education, he strives to give every patient the same level of care and attention he would want for his own pets.
Home Life
Beyond his role as co-owner of Coastal Animal Clinic, Dr. Mike treasures time with his children and the Florida outdoors. Whether he is fishing along the coast, camping, gardening, or cooking for loved ones, he finds joy in active, creative pursuits. As well as an accomplished woodworker, he has even crafted many of the unique, coastal-inspired reclaimed wood art featured throughout our clinic. He is honored to serve the Tampa Bay community and treats every patient with the same warmth and focus he gives his own beloved family pets.
